Director, teacher and devisor of circus and physical theatre with an emphasis on outdoor and site specific work.
Sometime performer and clown, occasionally performing her signature piece The Ancient Australian Tea Ceremony and her comedic take on cup Juggling – Titania Queen of Cups. Was a founding member of Circus Oz (aerialist, juggler, clown, book-keeper) and was Artistic Director there from 1993 – 1995 and at Strange Fruit. Circus Director for the Sydney Olympics Opening and Closing ceremonies and the Asian Games in Doha 2006. Also Associate Producer (Circus and Street) for the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
In recent years has directed four (count ‘em 4!!) Moomba Parades and a site-specific festival in London for the Olympic Games Cultural Festival – The Exhibition Road Show. Currently part time Artistic Director at Westside Circus and creative consultant on Moon Lantern Festival in Adelaide. Keen to do more directing work in community, regional and diverse contexts and also perform occasionally.
