Turning in Time mixes the tradition of a 1920s travelling circus with the sensuality of contemporary circus. Paying homage to the intriguing history of Australian circus, the girls from A4 will take you on a journey through evocative projections, mesmerizing aerials, hypnotic foot-juggling and graceful risley.

Turning in Time is a show of ropes and canvas, sawdust and stardust. What was and what is. Similar stories turned through time. Visit the cast of four who weave their own stories against the experiences of ‘Miss Pearl’ aka Dolly Lennon — one of Australia’s most famous trad circus performers of yesteryear. Turning in Time shines light on this forgotten circus world through high calibre circus acts – aerial ring, rizley, foot juggling, hula hoops, toss the girl and bounce juggle accompanied by the sweet beat of live music. Turning in Time is a show not to be missed – music, circus, dance, Australian history and film weaved into a 50-minute jaw dropping circus journey. Suitable for all ages.

Established in 2009 by graduates of the Flying Fruit Fly Circus, A4 toured their first production Downpour nationally and internationally including the Montréal Complètement Cirque.

Performed by: Kali Retallack, Zoe Robbins, Odette Robbins and Sundardas Worthy
