Catapult 2014 is shaping up to be another massive celebration of Australian Youth Circus and Physical Theatre. They have some new projects brewing and some very exciting performers joining them for the next action packed festival experience.

  • Accommodation at Catapul: In 2014 we are asking groups to organise and book all their own accomodation. We have provided a comprehensive list of some of the best and most affordable accomodation options available in Bathurst on our website. Get in quick because some of our accomodation partners also have offered some fantastic deals to help out. We will not be providing bus transport to and from Chifley Dam and New Haven in 2014 however if you have cars and like to be out of town these are both still great options.   • Nominate your trainers: In 2014 Catapult will program four days of workshops and forums. Historically the workshops and forums facilitated at Catapult have been conducted by the trainers, directors and company managers who are attending the festival, along with the visiting professional artists who perform at the festival. We offer the groups, whose staff have been invited to facilitate sessions during the festival, a discount on their attendance. You can nominate 1 to a maximum of 3 staff members to facilitate sessions during Catapult. For more information and to download the nomination forms please click here.
  • Register a performance: In 2014 Catapult will be programming the youth groups’ performances across four nights. This performance program will be carefully created using the information you provide us with. Your groups can register a perfromance piece (group, solo or duo) that is a maximum of 10 minutes in length to be performed at Catapult. Catapult suggest that you look out for local government grants, bank grants, arts grants and business sponsorship to help support your group to attend. If you need a letter of support from Catapult – drop Peta an email peta.johnston@bathurst.nsw.gov.au and she’ll send you one as quickly as she can.
