Quantum Clown Residency #3 (QCR3)

International School for Acting and Clown (ISAAC) is proud to present QCR3.

QCR is an annual creative and professional retreat. You are guaranteed to be inspired and find new direction in your career. QCR/ISAAC techniques bring the direct relation between acting and clown within your grasp.

QCR presents three major sections each year: 1) The Four Articulations – that are the essence of all performing and theatre. This is a clear, linear template that can be adapted to any production;

2) Theme of the year – QCR3 is “Shakespeare’s Clowns”. You will learn how to tap this treasure chest of clown, theatre, and imagination;

3) Creativity – each afternoon is for the actors to create their own performance pieces with director Ira Seidenstein assisting during the whole process.

WHEN: January 3 to 20, 2012. Monday to Friday. 9am to 4pm.
Note: starts on Tuesday Jan.3.
First two Fridays are half-days to allow for weekend journeys.
WHERE: Venue close to CBD Brisbane, Australia
COST: The Base rate is $660 (inc gst) per week and there is a discount for 2 weeks, another discount for 3 weeks, and for those who have trained with Ira before there is a further discount for those doing the whole 3-weeks.
