A little bit of standing up and a little bit of falling down [Adelaide Fringe]
Seesault presents the premier season by Tessa Waters
A little bit stand-up, a little bit slapstick and a little bit lovely! Comedian Tessa Waters returns to the Adelaide Fringe with her new solo offering; a poignant and entertaining exploration of the truly important things in life. She delves into her awkward and colourful past to share her experiences of finding contentment in a world where we have lost sight of this simple goal.
A show about learning to laugh at yourself, from the heart and soul behind physical comedy hit ‘Sexytime!’
Narrated through the mediums of dance, clowning and stand-up comedy, Waters will delve into her awkward and colourful past to share her experiences of finding happiness and contentment in a world where we seem to have lost sight of attaining these simple goals.
From playing a bumblebee in the back row of Miss Kate’s Dance Academy, over-dramatic acting school dramas, and falling in love with the ‘cool’ guy at school, to stepping out in black vinyl pants and foxtrotting in the kitchen, A little bit of standing up and a little bit of falling down is a show about learning to laugh at yourself.
With her inspiring new show the critically and popularly acclaimed comedienne behind ‘How to be a Lady’ and ‘Sexytime!’ is set to build on her reputation for creating quality comedy with heart and soul.
