Here is a little glimpse of the fun things that happened around Australia on World Circus Day…
On Saturday 12th of April, Slipstream Circus celebrated World Circus Day a week early, at the ANZAC Park in Ulverstone, Tasmania. The sunny day was enjoyed by many people, with the Slipstream family as well as some new faces – a workshop area was available for anyone to try their hand at some tricks, as well as an open stage for any keen performers. Slipstream fundraised for some new equipment with a BBQ and drinks stall, before their Freaks and Geeks (senior performance troupe) finished the wonderful day off with a show themselves, showcasing chair balancing, juggling, acrobalance, contortion and more! Overall a brilliant day was had, celebrating what they love… CIRCUS!
