Aurora Nova | 22nd November 2013 E-Newsletter
A group of young Australian acrobats went to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year and caused a quiet sensation. Gravity and Other Myths had never performed outside Australia before, but within days of the first performance of their show “A Simple Space” they were playing to sold out audiences and enjoying standing ovations every night for the rest of the run. The press were full of praise:
“A total triumph!” The Guardian
“…surely one of the happiest shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe …..The gravity-defying stunts performed are truly breathtaking and a joy to watch.” The Stage
“A Simple Space is bound to blow you away… This truly is a wonderful production.” Broadway Baby

Gravity & Other Myths will begin touring A Simple Space in February beginning with a season in our hometown at the 2014 Adelaide Fringe Festival. We are stoked to be a performing at The Royal Croquet Club in the heart of the city, an exciting new venue in a festival that gets bigger and better every year!
We will spend the month after Adelaide taking the show around Australia before we set off across the ocean once more. We could not be more excited to share our unique brand of circus with the world and with seasons in Europe, the UK, USA and Canada we will be doing just that.
Among all the touring Gravity & Other Myths welcomes its two newest members, Rhiannon Cave-Walker and Daniel Liddiard in early January. Having studied at DOCH(Dans och Cirkus Hogskolan), Sweden the duo will bring both phenomenal new skills and fresh energy to A Simple Space.
Even with so much already planned we would love you to get in touch if you are at all interested in working with us in 2014 or 2015. Be it a performance opportunity, workshops, master classes or just to keep in touch and say hi please don’t hesitate to email or phone either myself or Wolfgang.
