While we may have ‘officially’ been on holidays for the last few weeks, we’ve actually been pretty busy working on some new Professional Development opportunities for our members which we think you’ll agree are pretty awesome!

  • THE INDIES
    [A Development Initiative for independent members including performers, trainers, directors, producers, production etc.]
    Helping our Independent Artists engage with the broader Arts sector by providing new professional development opportunities in 2014. Join ACAPTA in 2014 as an Independent circus artist and you will be eligible to apply for our fantastic new Independent Artists Development Initiative. In 2014 ACAPTA will support 4 Independent artists to participate in industry events such as: the Victorian Theatre Network Meeting, Victorian Touring Workshop, and the Live Performance Australia’s Independent Producer’s Summit amongst others. ACAPTA will be looking for opportunities for you to attend relevant industry events in the state that you are based in. This is a professional development opportunity for independent circus and physical theatre artists [including performers, trainers, directors, producers and any independent circus arts practitioner].

  • THE SMALL CO’S
    [A Development Initiative for Small Unfunded / Project Funded Members].
    Helping our small companies engage with the broader Arts sector by providing new professional development opportunities in 2014. Join ACAPTA in 2014 as a small unfunded or project funded company and you will be eligible to apply for our fantastic new Small Companies Development Initiative. In 2014 ACAPTA will support 4 small companies (up to 2 members per company) to participate in industry events such as: the Victorian Theatre Network Meeting, Victorian Touring Workshop, and the Live Performance Australia’s Independent Producer’s Summit amongst others. ACAPTA will be looking for opportunities for you to attend relevant industry events in the state that you are based in. This is a professional development opportunity for both established and emerging small circus arts companies.

  • THE ORGS
    [A Staff Expansion Pack for Organisational members and their staff]
    Helping our Organisations further the professional development of their staff.We’ve recently had some interesting conversations with a number of our organisational members, about ways in which they can support their staff and offer them professional development opportunities.So, we came up with the ‘Organisation’s expansion pack’.Organisational membership currently includes 5 staff who receive our monthly e-news, news of fantastic opportunities and jobs, invitations to events, special discounts and complimentary ticket offers amongst a host of other great features.With our Organisation’s expansion pack, ACAPTA Organisational members can now purchase additional memberships for their staff at a discounted rate in one transaction.
