Update – March 14. 2017

ACAPTA’s Board has decided to put two resolutions to the membership indicating its decision to wind up ACAPTA’s operations and transfer services to Theatre Network Australia.

A Special General Meeting will be held on April 1st at Circus Oz in Collingwood, VIC, to vote on the resolutions.  In order to vote, either in person or by proxy, you need to be a financial 2017 member.

WHERE DO OUR MEMBERSHIP FEES GO?

Your membership fees go directly towards helping to keep the organisation alive, in fact they significantly contribute towards paying ACAPTA’s part-time staff to keep advocating for the circus arts sector and we try as often as we can to deliver ‘free’ initiatives and projects for all our members. So we urge you to renew your membership or join us as a new member and help us to continue to work for a better circus community. [Compared to other membership-based organisations our fees are incredibly low - we will strive to keep them this way, while providing substantial support and advocacy to the sector].
