ACAPTA will be hosting a series of Circus & Physical Theatre Sector Meetings in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth in the coming 12 months. [Other states to follow] where we can get together as a sector and discuss burning issues and plan for the sector’s future.

Join us for the first-ever, no holds barred gathering of the Victorian Circus Arts (and physical theatre) sector or if you prefer a day of yarning with the ‘Melbourne Carny Crew’.

Are you a circus or physical theatre performer, director, rigger, tech, producer, manager, board member, administrator, researcher, CEO, academic, researcher, trainer, friend, policy maker, funding body?

Then you need to be at this SESH.

ACAPTA is coordinating this ‘SESH’ to support all of us to get together to talk about issues that are relevant to the whole circus arts sector.

It is critical that your voice is part of the mix; if we don’t know what you think then we can’t develop or move forwards as a community.

This will not be a passive ‘listen to who’s talking’ SESH, you will be doing the work – talking in small groups and making recommendations about what needs to happen to make Victoria a leader in the the Australian circus arts.

Make sure you don’t miss out on your opportunity to be part of this conversation by booking your place right now.

ACAPTA members and interested parties from other states are most welcome to attend.
